Musk’s SpaceX Files Publicly for Nasdaq IPO Under Symbol SPCX
Bloomberg

  • SpaceX formally filed public IPO documents to list on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol SPCX, confirming years of speculation that Elon Musk would eventually open one of the world’s most valuable private companies to public investors.

  • The filing marks a historic inflection point for a company whose Starlink satellite internet division has become profitable and whose launch business continues to expand through government and commercial contracts.

  • SpaceX’s public debut would represent one of the largest tech IPOs in recent memory, giving retail investors their first opportunity to own a share of the company behind some of the most consequential launches in commercial spaceflight history.

𝕏: SpaceX in IPO filing: “We believe we have identified the largest actionable total addressable market in human history. We estimate that our quantifiable TAM is $28.5 trillion, consisting of $370 billion in Space from space-enabled solutions; $1.6 trillion in Connectivity across $870 billion in Starlink Broadband and $740 billion in Starlink Mobile as well as additional opportunities in enterprise and government… - Sawyer Merritt (@SawyerMerritt)

Google Launches Antigravity 2.0 with an Updated Desktop App and CLI Tool at IO 2026
By Ivan Mehta via TechCrunch

  • Google launched Antigravity 2.0 at Google IO, introducing a new desktop app, a CLI tool, and an SDK for building custom agent workflows — all powered by the new Gemini 3.5 Flash model, which was itself co-developed using Antigravity.

  • The update adds native voice command support, multi-agent orchestration, background task scheduling, and direct integration with Google AI Studio, Android, and Firebase, along with an Antigravity export tool in AI Studio for developers working locally.

  • Google also launched two new pricing tiers — an AI Ultra plan at $100/month offering 5x higher limits than the Pro plan, and a reduced top plan dropping from $250 to $200 — placing itself directly in competition with Anthropic and OpenAI on subscription pricing.

Meta, Snap and Roblox Commit to Tougher Anti-Grooming Measures in UK
By Mariella Moon via Engadget

  • Ofcom published a report showing that Meta, Snap, Roblox, TikTok, and YouTube are not doing enough to protect children from online harm, prompting the UK regulator to demand tougher protections under the Online Safety Act.

  • Snap agreed to roll out default settings preventing adults from contacting children they don’t know and will deploy an age assurance system to identify all UK users under 18 by summer; Meta will hide teenagers’ follower lists on Instagram by default and use AI tools to detect sexualized conversations between adults and minors in DMs.

  • TikTok and YouTube declined to commit to any significant changes, saying their platforms are already safe for children — a stance Ofcom said it will flag to the UK government as it considers a social media ban for users under 16, similar to Australia’s law enacted in December 2025.

𝕏: TikTok and YouTube ‘not safe enough’ for kids, says Ofcom. The findings follow the regulator’s call for stronger action on children’s online safety, and said Meta, Snap and Roblox had each agreed to stronger anti-grooming measures. - Raja Adnan Ahmed (@drraja_)

Tech Layoffs Hit Blind
By Noam Scheiber via The New York Times

  • Blind, the anonymous professional network widely used by tech workers, has emerged as a real-time index of layoff anxiety across the industry, where employees share information that human resources departments won’t say out loud.

  • As the wave of tech layoffs that began in 2023 continues into 2026, workers at companies undergoing cuts are turning to Blind to process fear, compare severance experiences, and signal to the market that they are available — often before official announcements are made.

  • The platform’s encrypted, company-verified anonymity makes it a rare window into the private mood of the tech workforce, capturing a labor anxiety that has not disappeared but has migrated from public social media to closed, professional forums.

𝕏: I have a story today about how layoffs are reshaping the culture of Big Tech, and how you can see this play out on a site called Blind, which has become the go-to place for tech workers to catalog their anxieties - Noam Scheiber (@noamscheiber)

Flipper One Computing Multitool Bristles with Network, GPIO and M.2 Connectivity
By Mark Tyson via Tom’s Hardware

  • The Flipper One is the successor to the Flipper Zero — an open-source ARM Linux computer in keychain form factor featuring Wi-Fi, Ethernet, Bluetooth, GPIO pins, and an M.2 expansion slot, positioning it as a full-featured hacking and development multitool that fits in a pocket.

  • Unlike the original Flipper Zero, the Flipper One runs a complete ARM Linux operating system, making it a capable general-purpose computer rather than a dedicated microcontroller device, with far broader compatibility across hardware interfaces.

  • Developers acknowledged the device is not yet market-ready and are actively seeking community contributors to finalize the hardware and software before any commercial release date is set.

𝕏: Today we officially announce Flipper One for the first time. It’s a very exciting and scary moment. Our experience with Flipper Zero showed that genuine passion and love for what you do can lead to amazing results. There are about 1 million Flipper Zero devices in people’s hands now, and that’s incredible. We built a huge community around it and inspired people to explore new technologies — and pushed vendors to make safer, more transparent products… - Pavel Zhovner (@zhovner)
